The Quetzal of Guatemala is an incredible bird. Not only a national treasure, but also an inspiration for the cause of liberty and freedom everywhere. Unable to live in captivity, this bird symbolizes to us, the fact that responsible business can do so much more than generate profit. It can change lives.

Our Motivation |
We believe that men and women should receive a fair and livable wage for their labor. This profoundly held belief is what motivated us to start our coffee business back in 2006. That is why we direct-source our products and ensure that our pricing models are honest and based upon true-market value. Our profit margins may be lower than our competitors, but we know that the relationships we are building with farmers and craftsmen help provide water filtration systems and clean-technologies to those who need them most.
